Jan founded this company with extensive knowledge and experience in Clinical Nursing and Clinical Informatics. Jan possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Health Informatics. She holds a board certification in Nursing Informatics and certifications in EMR/EHR management and usability, SQL query, green belt project management, and clinical coding certifications. She has many years of experience in areas such as: Nursing, clinical informatics, clinical data management (various reporting tools, QlikView and SQL), coding (ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG, HCPCS, CPT, Loinc, RxNorm, RUGS, OPPS, HIPPS, HL7,and C-CDA), project management (lean sigma, PDSA), Medicare operations, inpatient and ambulatory clinical operations, quality reporting and management (NCQA, HEDIS, MIPS, Medicare Stars, population health), healthcare compliance, (DNV, NYS, Joint Commission), Medicare regulations, Medicare level of service and claims review, Medicare appeals management, P&L variance management, and revenue cycle management.
